A woman who dropped a cigarette butt in Ormskirk Street is among those who’ve appeared before magistrates in recent days.

Anthony Lasikiewicz (45): Lyon Close, St Helens - Failed to attend an assessment to establish whether they were dependent upon a Class A drug: Fined £50, £30 surcharge for victim services, £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Emma Louise Matthews (22): Lyon Close, St Helens - Failed to attend a follow-up assessment, contrary to the Drugs Act 2005: 12-month conditional discharge, £20 surcharge for victim services, £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
