Teens urged to join the council’s c-card club

CONTRACEPTION advice will be available for St Helens teenagers at a series of sessions throughout the next month.

St Helens Council’s teenage pregnancy team, along with the local NHS Trust, are following up the recent National Condom Week with a series of sessions – starting on Monday, June 13 - to promote the innovative C-CARD scheme.

The C-Card sessions are set to take place at a host of venues, starting with Grange Valley from 4pm-6.15pm every Monday from June 13-July 4.

Every Tuesday from June 14-July 5 they will be on at Windlehurst Youth Centre between 6.45pm-9pm and every Wednesday, from June 15-July 6, at Derbyshire Hill Youth Centre from 6.30pm-8.45pm.

On Wednesday July 6 and 13, the C-Card sessions will be held at Millersdale, Clock Face, from 6.15pm-8.45pm.

Every Thursday, from June 16-July 7, they will be held from 6.45pm-9.15pm at the Thatto Heath Crusaders Rugby Centre and from 7.30pm-9.45pm at Moss Bank Youth Club.

On Fridays the service is available on a continuous basis at TAZ in the Milliennium Centre from 3pm-5pm and on Saturdays at Peter Street from 2.30pm-4.30pm and at Beacon YOZ from 6.30pm-9pm.
