SAINTS’ top brass paid a visit to their main sponsors Typhoo Tea.

Chairman Eamonn McManus, acting head coach Mike Rush and head of sales and marketing Dave Hutchinson all visited Moreton on the Wirral, the home of Typhoo, to sample different teas in a special tea-tasting laboratory.

Mr McManus said: “We have enjoyed a fantastic partnership to date with Typhoo. I am sure the relationship will continue to go from strength to strength as the season reaches boiling point.”

Typhoo’s chief executive officer Keith Packer added: “It is amazing just how much tea is drunk at Saints. The coaching staff and many of the players love tea and drink several cups a day.

“Let’s hope the team continue to get their OO’s and finish the season on a high.”
