St Helens Whovians should get their sonic screwdrivers ready for a visit of the Tardis next month.
The town centre will host a Dr Who day on Saturday May 10 with the Doctor’s trusty robot sidekick K9 also making an appearance alongside notorious foes Cybermen and Daleks.
A look-a-like of the Doctor’s fourth incarnation Tom Baker will also appear.
The show gets underway at 11am and runs through until 4pm with plenty of opportunities for fans to have their pictures taken with all the characters.
The Dr Who show is one of a series of forthcoming town centre events.
They include the European Gift Market on May 13 to 17 in Church Street; Healthy in St Helens (May 16 to 17) in Parish Church/Church Square; the Westfield Street Music Festival (June 8) at venues throughout Westfield Street and The Circus Comes To Town (June 21) in Church Square.
St Mary’s Market will also be featuring a number of fantastic regular events including a Family Art Club, Flea Market and Food and Craft Fairs.
