Talented students at St Helens College put on their best faces for a two-day competition to find the region’s best young make-up artist.

The regional heats of the World Skills contest welcomed promising youngsters from across the North West to the college’s town centre campus.

Students were judged on their efforts in nail art, nail enhancements as well as beauty therapy treatments. The winners will go on to the finals, to be held in London.

Competitors from Newcastle College, City of Liverpool College, Runshaw College also took part.
