St Helens Council has set up a new page on their website packed full of help and advice on party planners across the borough.

A special banner is also on the home page of the web site for a quick click on guide to organising a street party.

Eight applications have been made to St Helens Council for permission to close a number of roads across the borough to allow street parties to take place on Friday, April 29 - the date of the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The council’s deadline for application is April 8.
