ARSONISTS torched two vehicles in St Helens last Wednesday night (April 11).
Police received reports that a van in Gloucester Street, Parr, and a lorry in nearby Smithfield Street had been set on fire at about 10.30pm.
Extensive damage has been caused to the white van parked in Gloucester Street, however only minor damage was caused to the lorry parked outside a house in Smithfield Street.
The fires were swiftly extinguished and there were no injuries or further damage caused.
Police believe both vehicles were deliberately set alight and are now investigating reports that two men were seen running away from the scene along Gloucester Street.
