Police have issued a warning after a box of prescription medication was lost in St Helens.
The medication is reported to be a box of 36 “mst” morphine sulphate tablets and is believed to have been lost in the grounds of St Helens Hospital.
CCTV is being located from the area and inquiries are ongoing.
Officers say taking medication which hasn’t been prescribed for you can be dangerous and can even prove fatal.
Anyone who finds any of the medication is asked to hand it in to any pharmacy, police desk or contact the police non-emergency 101 number.
