ST Helens Wilkinson store has made a generous donation to a charitable trust which will help dementia patients and their carers

As part of the company’s commitment to the local community, Wilkinsons’ store manager, Linda Statter, presented the Mayor of St Helens, Councillor Tom Hargreaves, with a £500 cheque donation to the Mayor’s Appeal when he helped officially re-open the revamped store to the public in May, revealing an improved layout, new product ranges, and a brighter, more modern, shopping experience.

The Mayor has chosen to use the money to set up a charitable trust to support local people suffering with dementia, the illness that affects the brain and typically leads to memory loss.
