Saints stars Sia Soliola, Jonny Lomax and James Roby model the new kit.

HERE it is! Saints’ new home shirt for the 2013 season has been unveiled.

Inspired by the famous “Wide to West” try of 2000, the red vee is extended across the shoulders and the shirt is trimmed with black.

The shorts are predominantly white with red flashes while the socks are red with white tops, with “Saints” woven down the reverse.

The club’s name – St Helens RFC – is proudly displayed on the collar on the rear of the kit… so that’s all the opposition see as Saints stars race away from would-be tacklers!

Designed and produced by Australian kit manufacturers ISC, main shirt sponsor Ty-phoo Tea are across the chest with Tudor North West set in the centre.

On the left shoulder are long term partners Knowsley Safari Park, My Protein are on the right with ODs Designer Clothing on the collar.

Hattons Solicitors and PSD Vehicle Rental retain their traditional rear of shirt placing.

The short sponsors for 2013 are Magners.

Steve Law, Saints’ merchandising manager, said: “We are delighted to showcase our brand new home shirt for Super League Season 2013. Once again we have worked very closely with our Official Kit supplier to produce a kit we believe the fans and the players will love.

“This year we have combined the old with the new by extending the famous red vee up through the chest and over the shoulders. This was to maintain the tradition of a deeper vee whilst the addition of black into the home kit in the form of inserts, cuffs and hem trims has been created from the black trim within the club logo.

“The shirt is both functional and fashionable and can be worn on match nights or socially. The shirts are of the same high quality as previous, with the same cut and sew construction used for the last two seasons.”

He added: “The material is vector polyester which is designed to keep you cool in hotter weather and warmer in colder times. The badge is dimension welded whilst the ISC logo and the club name are embroidered on the right chest and back of the neck respectively.

“We expect demand to be high pre-Christmas so don’t delay and pre-order yours today.”

The shirts are priced between £44.99 and £47.99 for adults and £34.99 for children aged 6-16.

You can pre-order your kit at www.saintssuperstore.com or at the store at Langtree Park.
