St Helens College has appointed a new deputy principal.
Rob Molloy, who will also have responsibilities for finance, estates and ICT, join the college from outsorucing specialists Capita and Staffordshire County Council.
A chartered accountant, during a 20-year career he has worked for a host of firms including Nova Chemicals, Whitbread, Tate and Lyle, GlaxoSmithkline and the NHS.
He said: “I was really impressed by the people, the excellent facilities and also the plans for continually improving the services we offer to students and employers in the region.
“It is evident that the College has clear direction and a strong plan for success which I am looking forward to contributing to. I’m confident that my skills and industry experience complement those already here.”
College principal Dr Jette Burford added: “We are delighted to welcome Rob to the college.
“He joins us at an exciting time and his skills, experience and expertise will certainly contribute to realising our corporate priorities.”
