FIREFIGHTERS were called to a suspected arson attack in a copse of trees - about 100 yards away from a cluster of homes.

Crews were called to an embankment off Borough Road - near to The Shires housing development - shortly before 9.30pm last Tuesday (May 8).

A pile of rubbish had been set alight, prompting the fire service’s control room to receive four separate calls in the space of just a couple of minutes.
