Police want to speak to this man in connection with an assault

POLICE want to speak to this man in connection with a double assault.

Detectives say two people - a 28-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman - were assaulted following an altercation in The Watchmaker public house on Eccleston Street, Prescot, shortly after midnight on Friday, December 21.

Although not seriously injured, both victims were left very shaken.

The offender is described as a white man aged in his 40s, of a stocky build.

He was wearing a light coloured v necked pullover with a light coloured collared shirt underneath.

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured or anyone who recognises him as they believe he may have information that could assist them with their investigation.
