Meet the magnificent seven
Meet the new volunteers of St Helens Honey Rose Foundation charity shop, from left; Tara Herbert, Michael Rynn, Michael Winstanley and Daniel Jackman with marketing manager James Connolly
SEVEN new volunteers have signed up to work for the HoneyRose Foundation following an impassioned appeal in the St Helens Reporter.
In fact, the response from readers was so swift that HoneyRose bosses have now withdrawn an advert for office admin volunteers - after all the places were filled!
There remains an opening for a volunteer driver though, as well as plenty of other opportunities to volunteer in the last-wish charity’s fundraising shops.
HoneyRose founder Lynn Duffy said: “We’re delighted with the response - it’s been brilliant.”
The foundation funds and organises special days for terminally ill adults.
n Anyone interested in helping can call Lynn on 07838 238309, pop into the charity’s Hall Street shop.
