A lorry driver involved in a crash which killed a woman on the M62 in West Yorkshire has pleaded not guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.

Kevin Ollerhead, 43, of Lincoln Crescent, St Helens, denied the charge in an appearance at Leeds Crown Court.

Eighteen-year-old Bethany Jones from South Elmsall died and 12 people were injured in the crash between a minibus and a lorry in April last year.

A group of 21 women on the bus were travelling to a hen party in Liverpool.

The minibus driver, James Johnson, 63, of Whytecote End, Bradford, did not enter a plea on the same charge.

Both were bailed and will appear in court again on 23 July.
