St Helens Hospital has passed its latest inspection by health watchdogs with flying colours.
A routine, unannounced visit by inspectors from the Care Quality Commission found all expected standards were being met.
Their subsequent report, penned after interviews with staff and patients, also concluded patients are treated with dignity and respect.
The CQC report summary states: “Patients across the areas we visited told us they were treated with dignity and respect.
“Patients experienced effective, safe and appropriate care and treatment, tailored around patients individual needs.”
