Missing teen Patrick Maughan

POLICE say they are becoming increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of a missing teenager.

Fourteen-year-old Patrick Maughan has been missing from his Newton-le-Willows home since Thursday, February 14.

He is described as white, 5ft 1ins tall, of slim build with short blond hair.

He has green eyes and an Irish accent and was last seen wearing a navy blue t-shirt, blue hooded top, blue tracksuit bottoms and light grey Nike trainers with a luminous green stripe on both sides.

He is known to frequent the Sutton and Newton-le-Willows areas of St Helens and also has family and friends in the Doncaster and Leeds areas.

He was last sighted in the Preston area on the day of his disappearance.

Officers are urging Patrick, or anyone who has seen him since February 14, to contact the St Helens Control Room on 0151 777 6991, 0151 777 6952 or 101.
