Could you help HoneyRose?

A LAST wish charity based in St Helens is in desperate need of more volunteers.

The HoneyRose Foundation funds and organises special days for terminally ill adults and their families.

But charity founder Lynn Duffy says they currently only have a pool of six volunteers to shuffle around the charity’s three town centre shops.

She said: “We’ve got some great volunteers but we need more. Our volunteer driver hasn’t had a day off in four years!

“Our charity has helped more than 3,000 people over the years, including many local people, and we’d love to welcome some more volunteers to our team.

“For anyone who’s out of work at the moment, it would be a great thing for your CV too. We’ve had a string of volunteers go on to secure full-time jobs.”

Anyone interested in volunteering for the HoneyRose Foundation can call Lynn on 07838 238309, pop into the charity’s Hall Street fundraising shop or e-mail: lynn@honeyrosefoundation.co.uk
