Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man with a history of self-harming who has been missing since Easter Sunday.

Errol Zajac-Jones, who has links to the St Helens area, vanished after being discharged from Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport some time between 5am and 6am on April 20.

He has not been seen since.

Detectives leading the hunt for the 23-year-old, who is from Withington, say his family are concerned he may be self-harming and are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

He was last seen wearing dark coloured clothing.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police, who are leading the search for Errol, said: “Officers from South Manchester are now asking for people to take a good look at the photograph of Errol and get in touch if they know of his whereabouts.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
