Shane Carter.

POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned about the welfare of a teenager who has been reported missing from his St Helens home.

Shane Carter, 19, went missing from his home address in the Ellison Drive area last Thursday (July 5) and has not been seen since.

He is described as white, 5ft 9ins of stocky build with dyed shoulder length black hair and blue eyes.

Shane was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans along with a black padded gillet jacket when he was last seen.

He may also have been wearing a dog tag necklace and custom jewellery and may have travelled to the Manchester area by public transport.

Concerns are growing for Shane’s welfare and police are urging Shane or anyone who knows where he is to call 101 or the National Missing Person’s hotline on 116 000.
