Boy accused of biting off chunk of teen’s ear

A BOY has appeared in court accused of biting off a chunk of another teenager’s ear following a row over Facebook.

The 16-year-old defendant, of Rainhill, was charged with committing GBH with intent on a 17-year-old following an incident outside St Helens College’s Waterside Campus at about 9am on March 7.

His case was committed by St Helens Youth Court to Liverpool Crown Court for a further hearing next month. He is yet to enter a plea.
