Learning football the Brazillian way

A ST Helens soccer school was invited to take part in a colourful Brazilica Samba Festival carnival.

The local branch of Brazilian Soccer Schools (BSS) was invited to run the Soccer Zone part of the festival in Clayton Square, Liverpool.

Alongside Liverpool FC, AFC Liverpool and Liverpool Homess FC, BSS St Helens helped coach 500 youngsters throughout the samba festival weekend.

BSS St Helens technical director, Ray Owen, was joined by coaches Paul Owen and Makoto Uji and staff Jenny Owen, Barbara Callon.

He was also accompanied by members of the development squad, including: Scott Williams, Jacob Boyes-Jensen, Callum Duffy, Cavan Williams, Jake Unsworth, Finnlay Rhodes, Jake Dawson, Sol Delaney and Owen Rance.
