A LEADING St Helens estate agency is celebrating its fourth birthday.

Despite all doom and gloom in the property market over the last few years, Burns and Reid are happy and proud to say that after opening on Lynton Way off Bleak Hill Road four years ago, they’re celebrating another birthday.

A company spokesman said: “Even in four years there’s been some amazing changes to the way we run a business and what additional marketing, advertising and professional developments we can offer our clients,

“Our professional qualifications have been upgraded by the introduction of a professional licence to add to our NAEA and ARLA status, our clients can be confident that we’ll provide the most professional and knowledgable service, and we’re committed to keep up to date with industry developments.

“And along with the rest of the world, we’re embracing the wonderful world of social media and mobile ‘apps’ the latest craze to hit the world of business? – put very simply the QR (Quick Response) code, QR codes are a form of barcode that make the storing and retrieving of data very quick and simple, principally through use of an app on a mobile phone such as an iPhone or Android device.

“Simply open the app, point the camera at the QR code, and wait for the magic to happen, you can check out our codes for yourselves in our main pages,

“Swop Shop properties are going from strength to strength!! Everyone’s getting involved with it now, simple and easy, just tell us what you’re selling and what you want to buy and we’ll advertise you in our special section and get you moving!

“Apart from swop shop, our most popular and successful services are: helping first time buyers with advice on making offers and any vendor deposit paid and/or cash back schemes that may be available.

“Investors searching for property to buy and let out, and not forgetting our very busy Landlords full management and let only service, tenant demand for property is exceptionally high and we urgently need more properties to meet those needs.
