A group of guards from St Helens Central railway station are set to don their walking boots for charity.

On December 7, all eight members of staff will take on the walk from Hebden Bridge station to Todmorden. It has been dubbed George’s Walk II - in honour of a passenger who calls them all “George”.

Proceeds will be donated to Willowbrook Hospice.
