THE votes have been counted and the winner of the St Helens Reporter’s Baby Face competition is ... Grace Nevaeh Mclorie.
The seven-month-old tot, from Eccleston, was crowned the Baby Face winner 2012 after picking up the votes she needed to make the final.
Just pipped into second place was 14-month-old Daisy Forrester, with six-year-old Ellie-May Round third and two-year-old Alfie James Langtree fourth.
Grace’s mum Rachel Mclorie, 18, of Knowsley Road, said she felt like screaming with excitement when she found out that her daughter had won.
She said: “I wasn’t expecting Grace to win because there were so many other entrants. But I’m delighted that she did.
“I felt like crying with joy when I found out. I’m so proud of her. I told all my friends and family straight away and they were all made up too. I’m so grateful to everyone who voted for Grace - I can’t thank them enough.”
Grace and her family have won a fabulous 20x16 colour portrait, as well as £200!
The second, third and fourth placed entrants have won a 15x8 colour portrait and two 10x8 colour portraits, respectively.
In total, more than 400 babies were entered in this year’s Baby Face competition, which was once again sponsored by The Hardshaw Centre.
