BEST friends Jason Rigby and Daniel Hallwood (pictured above) collected matching A-Level results last week.
The Sutton Academy duo, both 18, were happy to pick up carbon copy results – A*s in drama and Ds in media studies.
And Jason and Daniel, who have already appeared as extras in Waterloo Road, are already plotting careers in front of and behind the cameras, respectively.
Jason, who has also appeared in Shameless, told the Reporter: “I was really nervous when I opened the results slip because that envelope could either open or close new doors on me.
“I didn’t sleep a wink the night before. So it was a big relief to get the A* in drama. I think the secret to getting such good grades was all the background research we did when putting together a play last year. I’m off to an acting school in Manchester now and hope to become a full time actor in the future.”
Daniel, who has appeared in an independent educational film called Wanderland, said: “I want to be a film producer in the future. I’ve had a taste of life in front of the camera but fancy forging a career behind the camera now.
“Me and Jason have made films together and acted together all the time in our drama lessons so we’ve really helped each other along.
“I’m off to Edge Hill University now to study film and television production.”
