POLICE say they are becoming increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of a teenage girl who is known to regularly visit Prescot.

Sixteen-year-old Megan Gargan was last seen by a friend at Huyton Village Train Station at about 7pm on New Year’s Day.

She is described as white, 5ft 4in tall, of medium build, with blue eyes, a freckled complexion and shoulder length light brown hair.

When she was last seen she was wearing a grey vest top, a brown jacket and black leggings.

She is known to frequent Prescot as well as Huyton, Liverpool city centre and the city’s Smithdown Road area.

Police are keen to talk to Megan, or anyone who has seen her, as soon as possible to check that she is safe and well.
