INSPIRATIONAL Angela Baker raised £2,000 by undergoing a 20-mile swim.

She completed the epic fund-raiser at Queens Park Health and Fitness centre where she is a member.

Her achievement is all the more impressive because Angela battled back from breast cancer in 2004.

Angela said: “I wanted to thank Professor Ricardio Auidisio and his team, who took my fears away.

“I always knew I was in expert hands. They helped give me the determination to remain positive and to fight the disease.

“I would also like to thank my husband Tony for his love and support, friends here, near and far and people I don’t even know for their generosity.

“I would also like to thank Queens Park Health & Fitness Manager Jim Flatley and his staff for their support.

“Hopefully the money will be used to help provide the latest advancements in breast cancer treatment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
