Eight planning applications before St Helens Council

A number of planning applications have been submitted to St Helens Council over recent days. Find out here if you’re affected.

Mr John Lynch has submitted a planning application to St Helens Council to erect a single storey extension to the side of his home in Pimbo Road, Kings Moss, together with a porch and porch.

Martin Allen has submitted a planning application to change the use of a builders yard at the rear of the Function Room, North Road, St Helens, to an external function area and to retain telegraph poles to create a boundary for a court yard.

St Helens Council have received a planning application from Mr Alan Houghton to erect a single storey side and rear wraparound extension at his home in Springfield Lane, St Helens.

Manuel Martinez Ortero has submitted a planning application to St Helens Council to make alterations and extensions to form a restaurant, toilets and relocate access to first floor flat at Wargrave Hacienda, Wargrave Road, St Helens. To make alterations to the first floor to relocate entrance to existing first floor flat and external works to extend the rear terrace and relocate smoking shelter.

Mr Ray Cunningham has submitted two planning applications to convert a house at 71 Recreation Street, St Helens, to two, one bedroomed flats, and to make elevation alterations and car parking. And to convert a house at 5 Norman Avenue, Haydock into two, one bedroomed flats along with external alterations.

St Helens Council have received a part retrospective planning application from Mr and Mrs Ye to retain hard standing on land between Reeds Brow and Langwood Lane, for the purpose of site compound along with access off Langwood Lane and to erect two polytunnels for horticultural use for a temporary period of two years.

Mrs Gale Pennington has submitted a planning application to erect a single storey side and rear wraparound extension at her home in Mitchell Road, Thatto Heath.
