All Saints Church in Ellamsbridge Road, Sutton, will be holding a rummage sale, starting at 10.30am. Breakfast refreshments will be available and admission costs 20p.

Sunday, February 16

Ormskirk Street United Reformed Church will be hosting a Sunday service from 10.30am to celebrate the life of Sarah Cowley and her legacy for the education of the poor in St Helens. All welcome.

Friday, February 21

West Street Independent Methodist Church in Thatto Heath will be holding a rummage sale in the church hall from 6.30pm. Admission costs 20p.

Saturday, February 22

There will be a nearly new and bric-a-brac sale at the Methodist Church in Atherton Street, Prescot, starting at 9.30am. All proceeds will go to church development funds.

Thursday, February 27

The next meeting of St Aidan’s Church’s mothers union will include a talk from Donald Westerman from the Gideon Bibles. The meeting starts at 7.30pm at the Eddleston Centre on Main Street in Billinge.

Friday, March 21

A quiz night is being held at Greenalls Social Club on Alder Hey Road in Eccleston from 7.45pm. Proceeds for the evening, which includes a hotpot supper, will go to Christian Aid. Tickets available only in advance by calling Janice on 07947743219.

St Helens Parish Church holds a short lunchtime services, starting at 12.30pm. The 20 minutes service includes hymns and Bible readings.

Feeling low on a Thursday? Why not attend West Street Independent Methodist Church’s Club in Thatto Heath from 2pm for two hours of quizzes, music, games and friendly chat.

first and third monday

St Aidan’s Church’s Vestry hour is between 7pm and 8pm. Enid Hitchen and Rev Alan Overend will be in church for enquiries about baptisms and weddings.
