CCTV images of a man have been released after a phone was stolen from a bookmakers.

Merseyside Police would like to speak to the man after an Apple iPhone 6 was stolen from a customer at William Hill bookmakers in Seddon Street at 2.30pm on November 29.

The owner of the phone had put it down on a table while using a gaming machine and when she had finished playing found the phone was no longer there.

She reported the incident to the police and it is now being treated as a theft.

Officers are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV as they believe he may have information that could help them progress the investigation.
