Cancer survivors 254 mile fund-raiser

A man who survived testicular cancer is taking on a mammoth bike ride.

David Sing, a supervisor of Sports Direct, along with two of his friends are taking on a 254 mile cycle challenge for Cancer Research UK.

David is teaming up with friends Kevin Fairbrother and Shaun Preston to cycle the distance in two days along the Liverpool-Leeds Canal.

The 28-year-old, from Bootle, has already raised almost £5,000 for Cancer Research UK’s Stand Up To Cancer fund-raiser in 2015.

But, is determined to raise further funds and awareness for Cancer Research UK. David’s original target was to make £500 for this challenge but, the amount currently stands at £655 and continues to increase.

David and his team set out on their challenge from Eldonian Village, Liverpool at 7am, on Thursday.
