THE winner of the St Helens Reporter’s ultra-popular Pet Poser competition is... Boyton the Siberian husky.
Natalie Lloyd, the owner of the seven-month-old pooch, has told of her delight at the success.
She said: “We were delighted when we were told that he’d won – we’re still in shock. Everybody always stops in the street and says how cute Boyton is, but we never expected him to win.
“We’ve only had him for four months but he’s such a lovable little dog. He’s very boisterous and always wants attention but he’s very good natured and well behaved for such a young dog too.
“I was straight on the phone to all my friends and family when I found out he’d won. I don’t think they were that surprised though. He’s so beautiful that everybody loves him!”
Natalie, 22, of West End Road, Haydock, bought Boyton with partner Stephen Jones, 25, from a woman in Widnes earlier this year. And she revealed the origins of Boyton’s distinctive name too – it’s the name of a place in Cornwall where she and Stephen had enjoyed a holiday.
