Boy, 3, hurt in town centre crash

PARAMEDICS checked over multiple casualties following a two-vehicle town centre crash.

Emergency crews were called to the collision scene on Chalon Way West shortly after 10.30pm on Thursday, May 19.

The worst injuries were suffered by an 18-year-old man, who had to be taken to Whiston Hospital after sustaining lower limb injuries and multiple lacerations.

A 30-year-old woman was also taken to hospital for a precautionary check.

Paramedics were also called on to check over a three-year-old boy, another 18-year-old man, a 16-year-old girl and two women in their mid 20s.
