A TEENAGE model from St Helens is set to compete in a beauty pageant in America.
Bethany Cammack, crowned Miss Photogenic at Europe’s Citrus Teen pageant in Cardiff last month, will compete at the worldwide final in the US in February.
The 16-year-old said she was “very proud” to have won the Citrus pageant on the first time it was held in the UK and to be given such an amazing opportunity.
After returning home from the US, she is set to compete in the Europe’s Perfect pageant in March - which could see her return to the US again in August!
Bethany said: “As a pageant girl I’m always keen to raise my profile. I’m also a proud ambassador for the charity Bullies Out.
“We have a meeting every three months and I will also gain a qualification through this.
“I have raised nearly £800 for the charity so far by running my own fundraising fashion show, which was held at my school, Cowley Language College. I have also organised a raffle and have just been signed by the modelling agency Sandstorm Luxury. As they are the sponsors of Miss England, I would love to one day represent my country at Miss World!”
Bethany has also made it through to the final of Miss Fresh Teen and hopes to appear at the Clothes Show live next month.
