ST Helens’ newest library opened last weekend - but you won’t find any books, films or CDs there!

Instead you can delve into the subconscious of fellow residents at the Library of Dreams - the culmination of a ten-month arts project aimed at cataloguing the dreams of local adults and children.

Funded by Arts Council England and commissioned by St Helens Council’s Arts Service, the project was delivered by Liverpool-based arts organisation Re-Dock.

The exhibition is divided into two rooms. Room one provides a bed to rest and soak up the sounds of the dreams of the people of St Helens.

In Room two you’ll find the Library Of Dreams archive, where you can listen, read and view the dreams of participants

The Library Of Dreams runs until Sunday, September 30 in the Godfrey Pilkington Art Gallery at The World Of Glass.
