Police searching for a missing 14-year-old St Helens boy have appealed for help to find him - over a week after he disappeared.

Aaron Carney was last seen in the Sherdley Road area on Thursday, March 30.

He is known to frequent the Australia estate and the Thatto Heath area of St Helens.

A force spokesman said: “Aaron is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, with short brown hair and speaking with a Lancashire accent. When last seen, he was wearing a black pants, black top and black shoes.

“He is known to frequent the Australia estate and Thatto Heath areas of St Helens.

“Anyone who knows where Aaron is or has seen a man resembling him since last 30 March is encouraged to call 01744 671085, call 101, or leave information with the Missing People charity on 116 000 or by emailing 116000@missingpeople.org.uk.”
