HERE’S Johnny Vegas as you’ve never seen him before - stripping naked to mimic Demi Moore’s famous magazine pose.
The photograph of the St Helens funnyman has been picked to hang on the wall of the National Potrait Gallery.
It’s all part of a new exhibition on Britain’s best comedians and features snaps of Johhny, Matt Lucas, and Jimmy Carr among others.
More than 50 photographic portraits of comedians from the 1940s to the present day have gone on display at the London gallery.
Vegas was photographed, mimicking Moore’s 1991 naked while pregnant pose by Annie Leibovitz for the cover of Vanity Fair, by Karl J Kaul.
The display includes the likes of Kenneth Horne, Eric Sykes, Tony Hancock, Sid James, Spike Milligan, Catherine Tate and Ricky Gervais.
It’s not the first Jonny has mimicked Hollywood star Demi. He regularly immitates the famous pottery scene from her film Ghost during his live shows, bringing baffled audience members on stages and press-ganging them into playing the part of Patrick Swazye while Johnny models clay in the fashion of Moore’s character, Molly.
n Comedians: From The 1940s To Now runs to January 2 at the National Portrait Gallery.
