STAFF at the Old Mill pub in Prescot dressed up as their favourite superheroes as part of a fundraising car wash.

The event, organised by the Mill Lane pub’s manageress, Emma Barr, helped to raise more than £175 for Willowbrook Hospice.

The Old Mill has big plans to help raise money for Children in Need too.

The week before they will host a fundraising battle of the bands night and, on the night itself, November 16, they are set to hold a pyjama party.
