Wednesday, April 2
The St Helens Choir Festival will take place at 7pm at St Helens Parish Church with 13 choirs from all over St Helens taking part, raising money for Willowbrook Hospice.
The next meeting of the St Helens and District Group of Diabetes UK will be on 7.30pm in St Helens Town Hall. The speaker will be Dr Stuart Bootle, who will be talking to us about ‘Diabetes Home Blood Glucose Testing’. Anyone with an interest in diabetes is welcome to attend, and admission is free.

8th Scout Group, New Street, is holding an Easter Egg Bingo. Doors open at 6.30pm; eyes down at 7pm.
Saturday, April 5
An Easter bingo evening will be held at Blackbrook scout hut, Ashurst Drive, from 7pm. There will also be a raffle, tombola and refreshments.
Thursday, May 1
The next meeting of Newton-le-Willows Gardeners Association, will be at 7.30pm. The venue will be the Newton Sports (& Cricket) Club on Crow Lane East. There will be giving a talk about scented plants. Admission is free.
