IT will be Madness at Haydock Park this summer when the iconic UK two-tone band turn the racecourse into a House of Fun!
Frontman Suggs and his bandmates Chas Smash, Barzo, Chrissy Boy, Thommo and Woody are set to take to the Haydock Park stage on the evening of Friday, July 6.
Set to play pop classics One Step Beyond, Baggy Trousers and It Must Be Love, Madness are following in the footsteps of Simply Red, Scissor Sisters, JLS and Sir Tom Jones – who have all performed after racing at Haydock Park in recent years. Tickets are on sale now. But music and racing fans alike are urged to book soon as the event is confidently predicted to be a sell-out.
Thirty years on from their formation, Madness are as popular as ever with their legions of followers after performing tracks from their tenth studio album at the House of Fun Weekender in Somerset in November.
Noah & The Whale were the first act booked for Haydock Park’s three music nights in 2012.
They are set to perform on the evening of Saturday, April 28.
Pop group Steps have been booked for the third music night – on Saturday, July 21.
Tickets for July 6, which include both the evening’s horse racing and the Madness concert, are on sale now.
Bookings can be made online at www.haydock-park.co.uk on 0844 579 3006 or from Haydock Park itself.
Prices range from £30 to £60 for adults and £15 to £30 for children. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
