THERE’S plenty to keep gig and theatre goers entertained in St Helens in the next couple of weeks.
Tribute acts Dizzy Lizzy and AC/DC UK are set to perform at the Citadel this Saturday (April 2), with doors opening at 7.30pm and tickets priced £15.
Then, the following Saturday (April 9), up-and-coming young blues guitarist Oli Brown will bring his band to the Water Street venue.
Tickets for the Oli Brown Band show cost £12 or £10 for concessions and doors open at 8pm.
Across town at the St Helens Theatre Royal, Drew Quayle’s critically acclaimed play The Salon is on until Saturday, April 9.

And, from April 14-25, the swashbuckling tale of Peter Pan will take centre stage at the Corporation Street venue as Regal Entertainments bring J M Barrie’s classic tale of the mischievous boy who never grew up to life.
Also coming to the Theatre Royal next month - on Saturday, April 16 - is The Searchers.
Playing classic hits such as Sweets for my Sweet, Needles and Pins, Don’t Throw Your Love Away and When You Walk In The Room, it’s not to be missed.
Tickets are priced £18 for adults or £17 for concessions. Doors open at 7.30pm.
