THOSE were the days.

Back in June 1966 Saints held the Premiership title, the Lancashire League and the Challenge Cup.

Here, brother and sister duo Sharon and Ian Twamley were photographed with a selection of Saints trophies at a fayre on Howards Lane.

The impromptu snap was hastily organised by photographer Geoff Williams of George Street.

Both Sharon and Ian still live in St Helens.
