The 1980s may have come and gone, but for one night only the decade that taste forgot is very much here and now.

Because some of the biggest music stars of the 80s will be playing together for one night at Haydock Park Racecourse.

The line-up includes Newton’s Rick Astley, T’Pau, Katrina of the Waves, Curosity Killed the Cat, The Christians and The Real Thing.

Tickets will be massively in demand, so advance purchase is strongly advised for the performance on Saturday, June 21.

Garry Fortune, Haydock Park’s general manager, said: “We are delighted to welcome some fantastic eighties acts to Haydock Racecourse this summer.

“We’re expecting a rush for tickets, so all racing and music fans are urged to reserve their tickets as soon as they can.”

The music - which is sure to include 80s classics like Astley Never Gonna Give You Up - will start once the day’s racing is completed.

Racecourse bosses have already announcement performances later this year from Sir Tom Jones and Wet Wet Wet. Tickets for the 80s Here and Now show start at £27.50 and are available by visiting www.haydock-park.co.uk or calling 0844 579 3006.
