A GROUP of students from Egypt and Jordan have visited St Helens College as part of an exchange programme.

The youngsters spent a week at the college as part of an events package organised by the Active Citizens Programme and the Community Empowerment Network.

The visitors attended St Helens College and learnt about life as a student in St Helens.

Shaun Moss, from the Prince’s Trust, said: “This is the second year that we have worked with the Active Citizens programme.

“Students from the Prince’s Trust have welcomed guests from other countries and have been given the opportunity to visit other countries for themselves.

“The exchange programmes benefit everyone involved, providing opportunities for students to experience new and different cultures.”
