FIND out what is going on in your local church...

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28: Earlestown Baptist Church on Crown Street invites you to attend our afternoon Tea Dance and Taster Session from 2pm-4pm. Dance to your favourite tunes from the Big Band Era and sample some freshly made soups, curries and pilaf. Tea, coffee and cakes will also be available from the Cafe. Tickets are £2 per person and available now from the Church office.

thursday, march 29: St Patrick’s Parish Social Centre, Common Road, Newton, holds grand Easter prize bingo. Eyes down at 8pm.

saturday, march 31: West Street Independent Methodist Church holds an afternoon tea at 2.30pm in the church hall. Admission costs £2.50.

Sunday, April 1 (Palm Sunday): St Helen’s Parish Church’s Palm Sunday Celebration service starts at 10.30am.

sunday, april 1 (palm sunday): St Aiden’s Parochial Church Meeting takes place immediately after the 10.30am family service.

Friday, April 6 (good friday): St Helen’s Parish Church is holding a special service of reflection on Good Friday. Service will begin inside the church at 2pm.

FRIDAY, APRIL 6 (GOOD FRIDAY): St Helens Parish Church, Church Square, is holding a short walk of witness in the town centre starting at noon outside the church. For more information contact the Church Office on 01744 22909 or email info@sthelensparishchurch.org

saturday, april 7: St Paul’s Church, Chain Lane, Blackbrook, will be holding a coffee morniong and mini-market from 10.30am to noon.

Sunday, April 8 (Easter sunday): St Helen’s Parish Church invites you to our Easter Celebrations, starting at 10.30am.

SATURDAY, APRIL 28: Christ Church United Reformed Church Community Centre , West End Road, Haydock, will hold a indoor table top sale. Admission is 20p. Book a table on 07814 186621.
